Happy Meats sell meat and prepared meat made from their own, high welfare animals. They have a range of 4 pork sausages (£6.85 per kg) plus lamb and wild venison. All can be made gluten free.

Pork sausages are made from Gloucester Old Spot. We tried The Governor and the Galloping Gloucesters. Both are excellent - meaty, juicy sausages with a powerful pork taste. So good in fact that if you close your eyes and eat a cold slice you could be enjoying roast pork for Sunday lunch.

They offer a good (and trusting) mail order service. I ordered a small package of sausages which they sent me without payment on the basis that I would send a cheque back (I did!).
