We enjoy both cooking and eating well. For a long time we searched, in vain, for a reliable local supplier of top quality meat and to our delight found Mr Payne and his team on Brunton Park. We have shopped regularly with them for several years, to our entire satisfaction the meat is always tasty, succulent and properly hung. Truth to tell good meat is expensive, but it is also true that one gets what one pays for. People who like to cook for themselves will find no better source of meat locally and if one is a skilled cook the cheaper cuts are both delicious and amazingly good value for money. I have no connection with this firm and no pecuniary interest in promoting them or their products beyond that of a satisfied customer willing to attest the skill, dedication and enthusiasm of an outstanding butcher.
