Cockburns are outstanding in terms of both the quality of their meat and their service. Summer months bring endless varieties of bbq sauasages, burgers and kebabs whilst Autumn and Winter bring about a wide and varied range of game. Special requests can be pre-ordered and if you request something not on display they will always tell you if it has been frozen - letting the customer make their own minds up. I cannot praise them highly enough, did I mention their fantastic pies and pasties?

I visited Cockburns for the first time last week and bought bacon and sausages. Fantastic quality and variety available. The game selection was very impressive as was the forerib of beef on display. Wish there was one in York, online shop please!
