I have lived in Leeds, London and Spain but never tasted sausages as good as these - fabulous meat content, they never shrinage and wonderful flavours! I''d especially recommend the the Cragside, Rothbury and Northumberland sausages.

What an amazing flavour. We loved the ''Simonside sizzler'' my favourite was the leek spring onion and ginger..cooked perfectly full of flavour and just as the best sausage should be.

We tried the sausages whilst staying as guests at The Orchard House and because of their excellent taste found out where they came from and went a bought a whole batch to take home and share with our friends.

On a self-catering holiday in Rothbury July 2005. We like to sample local produce when on holiday so a visit to Rothbury family butchers was a must. Such was the choice of sausages that we bought a selection, all of them being delicious, especially with mashed potatoes and home made onion gravy.
