Brockleby's believe that the concept of consuming rare and minority breed meat is good for both conserving the breeds and our culinary heritage.

The animals they raise and those they buy in from local farmers are slaughtered humanely at a local abattoir, removing the stress of a long journey. As a result the meat has superb flavour and is available to people who care about the origins of their food.

They produce a range of sausages including Lamb and mint that won Gold in the 2004 Great Taste Awards. They have a farm shop, sell at farmers markets throughout the East Midlands and via mail order.
