No, I am not mad, they sell sausages! Whilst being primarily devoted to cheese (and one of the finest cheese shops in the country with a special cheese cave to boot), this superb shop also sells fresh fruit,vegetables, jams, breads, provisions, salami and fresh sausages.
I brought one of each of the varieties - Chorizo, Toulouse and 2 Italian varieties. they are pricey at £11.50 to £16 per kilo. However they are solid, all meat sausages with little fat or water. Not really for a breakfast fry up but for cooking, the Italian varieties in particular are meant for use in sauces where a few will flavour enough for 3 or 4 servings.
It's next door to the Ginger Pig so no excuses for not trying them!
PS They sell best Parmesan at £24 per kilo!
