Proper local sausage shop next door to Abergavenny town hall. They sell several varieties plus meat, bacon, pies etc. When I visited during the Food Festival they had a queue longer than the fish & chip shop next door (saying somthing in a Welsh town!). Sausages are plump and tasty but no information on the meat or meat content. They won Best Sausage at the 2005 Royal Welsh show. Typical prices (Sept 2005) are £5.50 per kilo. A 7 on our Taste Test.

These sausages are out of this world. No shrinkage upon cooking, tasts just as good hot or cold. winners of various awards for everything. Visit 3 to 4 times a year to stock up.If in the area a must or make the trip if you can...you will not be disappointed.

What a joy to have such a high class sausage maker in my town. The varieties and flavours are superb. Lamb & Apricot, Pork & Stilton, and not forgetting the Welsh Dragon (nice and spicy) are a must for any connosseur. Don''t delay, try today!
