This quality butcher in the centre of York has recently become an Accredited Rare Breeds Butcher in the scheme operated by the Traditional Breeds Meat Marketing Co and is taking stock every week of pedigree rare breeds.
Look out for the bacon and rings of meaty, course cut Cumberland sausages (sold ready cooked for the tourists).

I have never tasted beef of such excellent quality and texture than from Scotts. You can definitely taste the difference between Scott''s meat and the stuff from the supermarket. I would highly recommend anyone to give Scott''s a try and I will almost guarantee you won''t go back to the supermarket for meat!!
