Slacks use locally sourced pigs which are fed on milk whey (reputedly from the production of Wensleydale cheese in nearby Yorkshire). They are best known for air dried bacon but also offer a range of 8 sausages.
The mail order service is excellent. They offer a selection of 5 packs for ?15 including postage. We brought Ayshire bacon and four 450g packs of sausages - Cumberland, Honey Roast, Breakfast and Pork & Sage. A nice touch is the stamped, addressed envelope which they include for your next order.
Meat content at around 70% could be higher but the sausages are perfectly acceptable.

I like the Honey Roast but have you tried the Pork, Rosemary and Pepper variety - they are just devine, Pity I have to drive all that way to be able to buy then with they could be bought from somewhere nearer to home.
